As part of the 5th day of the Sarajevo Film Festival “Dealing with the Past” program at Europe House, we premiered the film “Gaia” by Nermin Hamzagić and Enis Čišić, which deals with air pollution and environmental problems in Sarajevo, predicting potential apocalyptic scenarios if these problems are not addressed.
After the screening, the directors discussed the film’s themes, the environmental challenges it presents, and potential solutions, with the aim of raising awareness and inspiring action for a more sustainable future. “Gaia” is also part of this year’s SFF Competition Program in the Short Film category!
