In an increasingly uncertain world, human rights are more important than ever, especially in light of rising populism, authoritarianism, and new conflicts that have polarized global positions and undermined legal obligations and the protection of inherent rights.
Addressing these issues today at a special panel at Europe House, which is an integral part of the Sarajevo Film Festival “Human Rights” and “Dealing with the Past” activities, we discussed the development of human rights, in the global and Western Balkan context, and the role of young people as human rights defenders.
