Workshops “Drawn from the Heart – from Sarajevo to Srebrenica” were held on May 27 and 28 in Sarajevo and Srebrenica, bringing together children from both cities for a creative and symbolic workshop.
During the workshop, the children discussed what peace, togetherness and memory mean to them.
At the heart of this initiative is a simple but powerful intention: the exchange of works of art between the two communities, symbolising dialogue, mutual recognition and hope for a future without division and violence.
This catalogue of their work is a lasting tribute to the power of youth voices and the roles of art in fostering healing and understanding.
This initiative is part of activities of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with Srebrenica Memorial Center. on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
