In October, we marked a significant date; the first anniversary of the opening of Europe House. In its first year of existence, Europe House hosted over 220 events and was visited by more than 23,000 citizens, who participated in numerous activities, exhibitions, literary evenings and discussions related to the European integration process, thus directly participating in shaping the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a full member of the European Union. Happy birthday to Europe House!
As part of the #Europe4Culture activity, together with Yugo.Logo and Designicate, we organized an exhibition of the Yugo.Logo, highlighting the creativity of graphic design and the impact of these symbols on economic development. We also organized an edition of our literary club Booked with Ferida Duraković, a respected BiH author who shared her opinion on the role of female authors in literature.
In an effort to promote the importance of sustainability through the #OurPlanetOurFuture activities, we published an edition of Ecopedia on the occasion of World Cities Day and highlighted various examples of methodologies to combat the consequences of climate change and improving sustainability.
Through the #EUZaBiH activities, we also published ‘closEUp’ educational infographics about the member states of the European Union, we presented facts about Portugal and Romania. We also published an edition of the infographic Apply! through which we promoted a new call for Young European Ambassadors in the region.
We also launched an art competition for primary schools – Our Rights, Our Vision: A Creative Journey Through Children’s Rights, which will be finalized on World Children’s Day as part of the #EUZaTvojaPrava activity.
We also promoted key activities from September and announced activities for the coming season through our regular (and popular) edition of seasonal promotion infographics.
