#EuropeForCulture
During August, Europe House celebrated youth culture and activities in partnership with the Sarajevo Film Festival with fresh, new initiatives. As part of #EuropeForCulture activities, Europe House hosted numerous programs in cooperation with the 31st edition of Sarajevo Film Festival, supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program. Talents Sarajevo is the first regional training program for film professionals in Southeast Europe created in partnership with the Berlin International Film Festival, which this year provided 50 film professionals with rich content to develop partnerships, skills and a presence on the international stage. As part of this program, Europe House supported the organisation of Script Station workshops to help film professionals develop scripts, create content and collaborate on story development, with the support of mentors. We also supported the organisation of Pack & Pitch workshops, a program that helps directors and producers prepare their projects for marketing.
During the closing night of this edition of Sarajevo Film Festival, a concert was held in the heart of Sarajevo in cooperation with the Garden of Dreams festival, which gathered around 30,000 people, with performances by local artists and Layla Benitez from New York. |

#EU4Youth
As part of our #EU4Youth activities, on the occasion of International Youth Day, a video was published in cooperation with the Young European Ambassadors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the views of young people on their future, the European integration process and the values of the EU. The interactive Quizomania quiz was held in Živinice, Trebinje and Cazin, providing young people with an opportunity to have fun and test their knowledge of the history, culture, sports and landmarks of the EU.

#EUforBiHAs part of the #EUforBiH activities, the ongoing #closEUp campaign continues to provide interesting facts about the member states of the European Union. In August, Hungary was presented through one of the greatest staplers of this country – paprika – which is both a cultural symbol and an important part of the country’s gastronomy. |
