Tonight you can discover the unknown and relax with many events in the most cheerful night of celebrating science and research in a fun way!
The European Researchers’ Night is being celebrated in six cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and your whole family is invited to take part in it! Join us in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, Bijeljina, Goražde and Travnik!
Over 40 projects submitted for the competition of secondary schools in every city, the same number of research institutions and companies in the fair of science and technology, as well as numerous works submitted in the competition for the best story and drawing are the indicators of interest for the event, which is increasing every year. In addition to the science fair, and competitions, visitors in six cities will be able to participate in various interactive experiments and scientific games, exhibitions, quizzes, screenings, workshops, scientific games, which are arranged every year as a farewell!
Where?
The European Researchers’ Night will take place at Vilsonovo šetalište in Sarajevo, Petar Kočić Square in Banja Luka, Spanish Square in Mostar and other venues, Kralja Petra I Karađorđevića I Square in Bijeljina, the Business Centre in Goražde, and the University “Vitez” in Travnik.

The European Researchers’ Night has been organized every last Friday of September since 2005, with the aim of promoting scientific research, encouraging young people to choose a career in research, as well as raising public awareness about the impact of various scientific research outputs on everyday life.
Since its inception, the Researchers’ Night is celebrated in many cities in Europe, so the last one, in 2015, was held in more than 280 cities in 30 European countries.
From 2014 onwards, the Researchers’ Night has become the European Researchers Night sponsored by Horizon 2020.
